Spring!
Haha...I got a little overexcited in April about the weather! It was becoming so beautiful that I really wanted to start planting and gardening! I went on this shopping spree to attempt to buy flowers and such...just to be told that I was a bit early. Basically I was told that any flower I buy then would die if I put it outside.
But still, I was determined to buy some. So I loaded up with herbs to start indoors. And purchased a few flowers from the local Park Slope Farmer's Market. Here are the pictures! And good news! My herbs and tomato plants are doing amazing! But...I'm sad to say that I can't say the same about my flowers =(. My lovely tulips were eaten by a rodent (I think it was a squirrel). And I think I might have killed my daffodils due to lack of watering...I know I'm awful. But at least they were beautiful for a little while!
Enjoy! A little greenery in an urban jungle.
My lovely basil and tomato starters!
My other herbs!
My tulips and Daffodils...so sad.
My crocuses...oh right, these died too. I did so much better with my herbs. Here a pictures of my balcony/porch and the backyard we share with our neighbors! I can't wait for summer!
