On the Harry Potter book release date...Laura and I were walking around SoHo and just happened to walk right past all the Harry Potter craziness! I didn't partake in the festivities but I bought my book bright and early the next morning. And of course spent the whole weekend finishing it! Yes, I know...

Bastille Day in Brooklyn

After I first arrived in NY, my roommate Chris could talk of was Bastille Day. It is where they shut down a whole block in Brooklyn on Smith St...fill it with sand and have petanque tournament.
